Aid, assistance, relief, and comfort

• Providing financial assistance to needy or disabled veterans.

• Supporting members of the Armed Forces and their dependents.

• Offering relief to the surviving spouses and orphans of deceased veterans.

Maintenance and expansion of facilities

• Supporting the VFW National Home and other facilities exclusively dedicated to the well-being of dependents, surviving spouses, and orphans of disabled, needy, or deceased veterans or members of the Armed Forces.

Veterans rehabilitation, welfare, and service work:

• Funding programs and initiatives aimed at rehabilitating veterans, promoting their welfare, and providing necessary services.

Be A Hero to a Hero, Road Home, Team RWB, Mission Continues, VetPark, Call to Shoulders, Salute Inc., Support Over Stigma, Honor Flight.

Memory of deceased Veterans:

• Perpetuating the memory of deceased veterans and members of the Armed Forces.

Patriotic education:

• Fostering true patriotism through historical and educational programs.

Remission of dues:

•  Remitting dues for sick, needy, or disabled members.

Supporting the relief fund:

• Covering necessary expenses related to the administration and support of the relief fund, such as the purchase of Buddy Poppies.
